Other stocks posting gains include Royal Gold Inc. (RGLD), Liberty Media Corp. Series C SiriusXM (LSXMK), and SharkNinja Inc. (SN), all of which have seen increases of at least 3%. However, CoStar Group Inc. (CSGP) and Dropbox Inc. (DBX) have experienced declines, falling by 2.5% and 2.3% respectively.
Looking at the futures, the S&P 500 is up by 0.07%, with futures for the Dow Jones Industrial Average rising by 0.08%. The Cboe Volatility Index futures have also increased significantly, rising by 17.73%.
In commodities news, Brent crude oil futures are up by 0.49%, while gold futures have risen by 0.12%. Bitcoin has also experienced a notable increase of 2.92%, bringing its value to $27,222.
The 10-Year Treasury yield has climbed to 4.340%.
During the previous regular trading session, the S&P 500 and the Dow saw declines of 1.22% and 0.83% respectively. Meanwhile, China's Shanghai Composite Index was up by 0.26% in Asia overnight.
In afternoon trading, European stocks are currently down, with the STOXX Europe 600 Index declining by 0.72%, and the FTSE 100 Index declining by 0.35% from the previous close.
